I’d like to share my top three BAGs with you (you’re probably wondering.. that’s Big Audacious Goals):
1 – To possess and continue to sustain overall health, strength, and mental and emotional optimization.
2 – To help and support thousands of people every year to live their best lives.
3 – To create and sustain a life for myself and my loved ones which is fulfilling, full of love, joy and security.
What are your BAGs? And if you are clear about your BAGs, do you know how to achieve them? What are you currently doing about it?
Many of us are busy checking off items from a never ending list. But if you don’t have a clear idea of your Big Audacious Goals and how to go about executing them, how different are you from a hamster on a treadmill?
Well, that’s not fair of me… of course you’re not a hamster on a treadmill! You’re a remarkable human being with dreams, visions and a mind full of ‘what if’s?’.
But if you are truly being honest with yourself right now: Are things going to look any different one year from now as they do in this very moment if you keep doing what you’ve been doing?
If this answer is a resounding, “Hell NO — NO WAY things are going to look like how they look today!”. Congratulations! Woo!
However, if the answer is more like a tepid, “Ummm… I’m not sure. How things look today, feel awfully similar to how things look and felt two years ago…”, when then Friend, you got some thinking and deciding to do.
There is one thing I am going to tell you right now: Things can be different.
Two years from now, it’s possible for you to look back on this day and think, “Things are unrecognizable now from two years ago today.”
In fact, you can look back one month from now and think: “Dang, things can change in a short period of time!”
Changes can happen in all kinds of ways: Thrilling / Scary, Ease / Hard, “Better” / “Worse” (in quotes because I believe that how we feel about our experiences is up to us to decide).
However, there are a few things I am certain of and they are these two things:
1 – You can control what you can control, and as long as you’re clear about what they are, you can concentrate on controlling the heck out of them.
2 – You can be in the driver’s seat, even if you’re not always in control of the destination or the road conditions.
Together, we will get a clear idea of where you are today, where you want to be, and how to get there.
No more of your life looking the same day to day, month to month, year to year.
Because the way to get to another destination is to know where you want to go, make sure that everything required is in good working order, what you’ll need to get there, know what steps you need to be taking and then most importantly: To take the freakin’ steps.
But I am going to share a truth that is not often discussed because it introduces some complexity.
And most of us want our answers, neat and simple.
However, what’s most important to me is not for you to achieve some surface-level success.
The thing that’s most important is that you live the best and TOTAL OVERALL WELLNESS in your life.
And possessing Total Wellness means having an idea of how you’re doing in totality.
